When we at HOC developed our outrigger system we looked to solve the problems with the existing outriggers on the market. The biggest problem was the easiest to solve. By getting rid of all the moving parts, you are no longer susceptible to them freezing, getting packed with snow & ice and not working. There are no strings that break or need adjustment and the skier will never get confused about which position their ski tips are in. By simplifying them in to an extremely light, ergonomic, and adjustable package we have created a superior outrigger that can be relied on every time. The HOC2 outriggers are designed so the skier can place them at the perfect angle when the skier is in ski position and grips the snow for traction when being used to push forward on the flat, lifting upwards to load, recover from a fall, or just stand still. A durable non-slip grip, vibration-dampening titanium, and optional brakes complete the package.
